In 2024 SFCC took ownership of ‘Shambler’, a traditional Seine Boat, to enable social rowing for all members. 

Should you wish to Row, Cox, simply help with launching or attend from a social aspect, you are most welcome, especially if you have never tried it before the Shamblers love gently  introducing rowing to newbies!

We currently have a very mixed group who are motivated to get out on the water as often as possible.  The more members involved, the better as it offers more opportunity.

Sessions are not guaranteed and depend on (1) Weather & Tides and (2) Full competent crew availability

We now have a Spond group for Members who would like to row on Shambler.   

Dates are published on the main Events Calendar  in the Members area.
